Flying to Bhutan is one of the most scenic glimpse that one had ever experienced. While descending to Paro International Airport, entering to only living paradise flying over mountains gives the goosebumps of flying to heaven. Moreover, chelila trek is the only trek that give the clear vision of two districts, Paro and Haa valley from the Phungkarpo hill. Chelila is the first ever motorable road in the country.

Day 1- Arrive to Paro
On your arrival to Paro international airport, you will be received by ours representative. Your driver will drive you to the hotel and check-in to the hotel in Paro. After refreshment, you will visit to Paro Rimpong Dzong (fortress, 1646). After lunch, you will drive towards Drukgyal Dzong. In the evening you will stroll down Paro town to experience the life of Bhutanese and their living style. Overnight Hotel in Paro.
Day 2- Hike to Taktsang (Tigress nest)
After breakfast, today you will hike towards Tatsang to acclimatize. You will drive towards Taktsang base and from there you will see the temple clinging on the middle of cliff. It’s said that Guru Rimpochoe had ridden on the back of tiger and flown towards that cliff in the 8th century. You will walk 3hrs ascending to reach the temple. Upon return, you will have lunch at viewpoint cafeteria at Taktsang (you will be served only vegetarian food in that cafeteria). After lunch descend 2hrs to reach back to the car. Overnight hotel in Paro.
Day 3: Paro-Haa
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and visit to Ta Dzong (watch tower) museum in Paro. You will drive towards Haa after lunch in Paro. You will drive nearly 3 hrs to reach Haa valley. Visit Lhakhang Karpo, (white temple) in Haa on arrival. After that check-in to a hotel in Haa. Overnight in Haa.
Day 4: Haa -Sagala (trek starts from here). 9 km, 5hrs, Campsite: 3700m
You will have archery playing activities after breakfast. Then you will drive towards Chungdho Thang, you will meet your trekking chef, trekking assistant, horseman and horses. Gently you will ascend until the campsite. You will walk in the deep jungle leaving the road connections and villages.
Day 5: Sagala- Ningula. 10km, 7hrs, campsite:3900m
Today your journey is above tree-line, you have to wear warm cloths. After walking for 2hrs you will leave the tree-line. On the way you will see Himalayan Monal, Red Blood Pheasant, herbal plants etc… While reaching on the view point, you will see close view of Haa valley in the right and Paro valley in the left.
Day 6-Thimphu (trek ends here). 10km, 7hrs Congratulations for completing the trek.
Today you will walk in the tree-line and above tree-line with ascends and descends. While on the way, you will see lots of flowers, wild birds and wild animals even you will see blue poppy the national flower of Bhutan. You will walk over cliffs and even through deepest jungle without trail. You will descend to reach Chelila 3900m above sea level, motorable road after covering 10km walking nearly 7hrs. Your driver will wait there at the pass. Then you will drive towards Thimphu. Check-in to the hotel in Thimphu, overnight in Thimphu.
Day 7: Thimphu- Paro.
Sightseeing includes visiting memorial chorten (stupa built to commemorate late 3rd king of Bhutan), Buddha point (largest buddha statue in the world), school of arts and craft (painting school), zoo (preserved area for the national animal of Bhutan, Takin).
In the evening, visit to Trashi Choedzong (fortress of glorious religion), it serves as the central administrative purpose and residence of central monk body. After that drive to Paro.
Day 8- See off.
After breakfast, drive to Paro airport for see off for your onward destinations. Safe journey, Hope to see you again.
