Day: 1 Arrive Paro International Airport
During the flight, one will experience breathtaking views of Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga and other famous Himalayan peaks, including the sacred Mount Juomolhari and Jitchu Drake in Bhutan. On arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be received and escorted to hotel by our company (Tsholung) representative. After check-in to hotel you will be exploring Paro town.

Day: 2 Paro Sightseeing
Morning: Drive to Drugyal Dzong, built against the victory over Tibetan invasion in the 17th century (a ruined fortress – 16Kms away from Paro town).
Afternoon: Visit the National Museum (watch tower). Once it served as the watchtower for the Rimpung Dzong, it was converted into the National Museum in 1968.
Visit the Paro Rinpung Dzong. A flagstone path rises gradually from a beautiful wooden bridge with shingle roofing an abutted by two guardhouses to the dzong. Tea at the hotel and drive to capital city, Thimphu. Overnight hotel in Thimphu.
Day: 3 Thimphu Sightseeing
The sightseeing includes visiting memorial chorten (stupa built to commemorate late 3rd king of Bhutan), Buddha point (largest buddha statue in the world), school of arts and craft (painting school), zoo (pressered area for the national animal of Bhutan, Takin).
In the evening, visit to Trashi Choedzong (fortress of glorious religion), it serves as the central administrative purpose and residence of central monk body. Overnight hotel in Thimhu.
Day: 4 Thimphu – Punakha
Driving on the scenic hillside, stop at Dochula Pass (3140 m), in the clear sky you can enjoy the panoramic view of the Himalayan Mountain ranges. Then pass by the beautiful 108 chortens built on the upraised ground by Queen Mother of Bhutan.
After refreshment at Dochula Cafeteria, drive to Punakha (former capital of Bhutan 1637-1907). It has been inextricably linked to some of the most momentous events in the Bhutanese history and deserves its reputation as one of the most beautiful and significant regions at the heart of Bhutanese culture.
After lunch, you will visit the Divine Madman’s Monastery-Chhimi Lhakhang, famously known for its fertility shrine, where one can receive a special fertility blessing.

Day: 5 Punakha – Thimphu
In the morning drive to Khamsum Yuel Ley Lhakhang (stupa shaped temple), and you will take a hike to temple crossing a suspension bridge witnessing the scenic rice field. From the temple you can capture entire Punakha valley. After lunch, drive back to Thimphu. Overnight hotel in Thimphu
Day: 6 Thimphu – Paro
After an early breakfast, drive back to Paro for hike to Taktsang monastery. The name Taksang means “Tiger’s nest”. The monastery is perched on a rocky ledge with a sheer drop of nearly 900m. It is said that in the second half of the 8th century, Guru Padma Sambhava, the second Buddha, alighted here upon the back of a tigress.

Day: 7 Departure from Paro Airport.
Departing from Paro international airport to your onwards destination. Head back to your destination with memories entangled by happiness.
