Welcome to Bhutan Tsholung Tours and Travels (B3T) website. I’m Dorji Wangdi from a nomadic big sized family above 2800m above sea level, where family’s’ only income was their livestock. I was enrolled in a primary school at the age of 8 without a kindergarten. Though we have clustered numerous houses, most of the families goes after their cattle/yaks in their respective pastureland which is one or two days journey long in the jungle or above tree line leaving the village empty. I can rarely see my parents after I was sent to school. In that dark walled 2 storied house, I had to study alone in a kerosene lamb. The rumors was that there exist yeti, goose-bumping me every night on that single bed when it comes to my mind. After 7 years at the age of 15, I have completed my primary education including pre-preprimary in Sakteng, a primary school without electricity and road connection. Thereafter, I left homeland (Sakteng) and continued my education living almost dumb and numb by the facility when I reach in new place. After my high school, I was one of the luckiest student to receive scholarship from His Majesty the 5Th king of Bhutan to study in Bangkok majoring International Business Management, for four years.
